Liberty turned 5

Yikes!  My oldest is now 5 years old.  She's growing up to be such a beautiful, smart and responsible little girl.  That morning she woke up to a decorated house and the first thing she says to me is "Mom, I'm 5!"  She has been looking forward to this day for a long time.
We spent her day doing all of her favorites, we started early and went to the rail trail so she could ride her bike, I jogged and pushed Kennedi and Parker in the double jogger.  It worked out great for both of us.  Then we headed home to have homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast.  Then off to the pool for a couple of hours and had lunch there.  We made pork enchiladas for dinner, ate that for an early dinner when Josh got home.  Then we surprised her by going to the movie theatre to see Despicable Me 2.  Going to the movies is a big fav of hers, plus we all loved the first D.M. movie.  It was a cute show!  Next we came home to open presents and have ice cream pie made with a birthday Oreo crust, and chocolate fudge brownie ice cream, per her request.  It was a fun day.  Now I have to send her off to kindergarten in a month, which makes me sad, nervous, happy and excited all at the same time.  Time is just flying and I will miss having my little friend at home with me all day.
