First Day of 1st Grade and Preschool

Kennedi is 4 years old and started preschool at home with mom today.  There's not many options when it comes to preschool around us, everything is a daycare type of thing.  We set up a side of our basement as Kennedi's school area and do an hour each day.  Kennedi is a very stubborn girl, so I was a little worried about trying to do school with just me and her.  It took some prepping on my part, but so far so good, and on the bad days we keep it short and sweet.  We had a little photo shoot before our walk to Libby's school
Liberty LOVES school.  She was very excited to start school, but nervous for a new school and making new friends.  We were able to meet her teacher the week before and check out the school to help us both feel better about the new school.  Her teacher is so nice and seems like a perfect fit for Liberty to excel this year.  We are in a walking district, it takes us 6-8 minutes to walk to school.  We have enjoyed this new way of getting to school and are able to have some fun talks with each other.  Her school is fairly small too, which I like, two classes per grade.
Parker is learning to sit still for pictures, but may not always smile for me.
Our mode of transportation for the little two munchkins, our Burley trailer/jogger turned out to come in handy here in PA.
After school pick up, and still smiling.
