Our temple assignment has just recently changed from the Washington D.C. temple to the Columbus Ohio temple. So our ward made one last youth temple trip and we decided to come along with our family. It's only three hour drive and we were able to get a hotel pretty close. We came out with another family from our ward, the Kimbers, to do a kid swap so the couples could each do an endowment session before the youth baptisms, Josh is the 2nd counselor in the young mens.
The kids love hotels and were so tired after their swim at the pool.
There is a wonderful visitors center that we were able to go to while we waited for the baptisms to be done. Our future sister missionary here. :)Kennedi was so done after hours of walking around the grounds and visitors center. She got a quick rest in the car though before we surprised the kids with dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with the Kimbers on the way out of town. Our family favorite restaurant.
The last time we were in D.C. was uncle Erik came to visit us and Parker was only 3 months old. Now he's walking all over the visitors center and temple grounds.
We were lucky to have a little fall colors still around.
Parker wanted to eat all the bread and pizza at the Cheesecake Factory.
