Nauvoo, IL

We were really lucky to take a break from life for two days and head southeast to Nauvoo at the beginning of August. We went with our good friends from church the Shaws and Days. We were able to watch each others kids while each couple did a session at the temple. Then we explored a little down town, and headed to the pageant. We had dinner there while playing and enjoying all the pioneer games, music and dancing. It was the last day of the pageant, and it was so good. I'm so amazed at the wonderful talent that members of the church have. If you are ever in the midwest I highly recommend visiting Nauvoo and seeing the pageant and of course the beautiful temple.

Libby and her friend Brynlee Day

This is our cute house that we rented for the one night. It had lots of pretty grass and trees and a great view of the Mississippi River. It was such a beautiful drive along the river to the house from Nauvoo.

This is Bailey Shaw pushing Libby, he loved pushing her around and helping in any way he could.

I guess Josh is related somehow to the Browning pioneers. :)

Sam- Cute skirt :) Tried it on again this past week in our JC Penny's... glad I didn't buy it, but it looks way cute in your photos. Almost makes me think thrice :)

Josh- doesn't grandpa think we are related to everyone? :)

Libby - I love you love you love you...
