Ledges

This labor day weekend we went to one of Iowa's State parks called Ledges. The drive was just north of where we live through the typical corn fields. So we were in aww once we got into the park. As we entered there are tons of beautiful trees and cool ledges and streams. It was unlike any part of Iowa we've ever seen. Our friends Maryann and Eric and their baby Emi met us there and we had a picnic lunch and then went on a hike to Lost Lake. It was a pretty hike and Libby just loved being in the outdoors. Except every time we stopped to take pictures and enjoy the scenery she whined to get out. On our way home yet again in the middle of nowhere and cornfields there was this Hindu temple, it was very detailed and in such a random place. Then of course we didn't want to cook dinner and so we went to get some yummy Papa Murphy's pizza! Here's Libby enjoying her own little piece...loved it!
