Des Moines has undoubtedly one of the best farmers markets in the United States. It is held down town on Court Avenue right next to all the big buildings. The farmers market has been held every Saturday morning. The town shuts down 6+ city blocks and it's side streets for vendors including farmers, artists, musicians and informational booths. We have been making it a Saturday morning tradition to walk the few blocks one or more times to see different people, smell and taste different foods, and to enjoy doing something as a family. It seems that everyone brings their dogs and Libby loves to tell us every time she sees one. Yesterday we went to pick out our Halloween pumpkin. Here are a few of our pictures... Bundled up! It was cold! Our pumpkin! Did you know that most of the time they base the cost of the pumpkin based on stem appearance? They did that with our pumpkin price!
Sam! You're hair is getting so long! You guys all look so good. The Farmer's Market does make for a pretty fun little trip. And nice pumpkin- looks like one I would've picked! :D

What fun pictures! The colors are all so vibrant. AND the subjects are great! Libby is a doll, as usual. How we love all of you. Thanks for sharing.
I've been wondering how your family is doing! It was about time for an update ;)
Looks like you're having fun.
