So far while in California I took the girls in to the doctors for their normal check ups and to get shots caught up on. They were actually able to get in with my old former pediatrician Dr. Grandison. She is so great, she even came to my bridal shower and wedding reception. The picture with her is the one with the girls in their diapers. Liberty and Kennedi are two healthy girls! We're so thankful!!
Libby is enjoying all the fun toys while here. That's including the food toy box and barbies. This was her first time really playing with them, besides the one Ariel barbie Josh bought Libby before he left for Florida. She likes driving them around in the pink Jeep that I grew up playing with and the Cinderella chariot. And of course we play lots of cards. Libby is playing with Fancy Nancy cards (one of her favorite book collection) and princess cards
My family is moving sometime in the near future, so they've been having garage sales. I'm helping out by playing on the old tire swing. :) Libby is enjoying her bowl of Fruit Loops outside in her high chair on the floor. The cat tried to help her a few times and she didn't know what to do. Garage sales have been going good, selling a lot of bigger items like riding lawn mowers. No poodles or old bras this time. :)
I vacuumed the pool out one day of the garage sale, so when we were all done we took a swim with the girls. Our cousin Becca came down to visit as well as (great) grandma for the weekend. She's holding Kennedi in that funny way because Kennedi is doing a job and you just never know with that girl. Libby is trying out the swim wings for the first time. She didn't really know what to think, but liked the pool otherwise.
Emma is involved with volleyball through school and doing city basketball. She's a pretty busy girl. We've enjoyed going to her practices and games. Libby especially likes watching the basketball games. When Emma is in she can't take her eyes off her. She cheers along with everyone too! She shouts "GO EMMA! GO GO GO!!!" We love it! Kennedi's excitement shows with her big blue eyes. One of these games I'm going to try to record her. Libby wants to play soooo bad. At one of Emma's practices I had Libby run and touch the wall and come back (like 20 feet away). That kept her busy for awhile. Josh and I are excited to get her on a team someday! Basketball is one of our families favorite sports!! Oh yeah, and Maddie was playing basketball too. Except at the very end of her first practice she fell and broke her wrist. This is the second broken limb this year, and the thir overall. She's doing fine though!
Libby is now out of know where saying ice cream instead of wa-kees. She slurping down one of her bowls in a couple of these pictures. She so funny!
