Early Christmas

My dad dropped off a couple boxes of presents for us in Albuquerque on their way to Tennessee to move my grandpa out to California. We were going to open gifts with them on their way back but timing was off. So the girls opened them the night before we left for Colorado. Libby had been so patient for a whole week, she was so happy to finally open the presents.

Josh and I went to an ugly sweater Christmas party! One of the attending doctors here threw a great party. Yummy food, ugly sweaters and a great white elephant gift exchange. Some of the gifts were good and some were funny, for example a Chuck Norris poster. We didn't get that, as much as Josh wanted it. We ended up with Apples to Apples. I was happy with that, even though we had an Applebee's gift card just before. It was a fun time for us to get out just the two of us...we got a babysitter for the girls for the first time in awhile.
