Blueberry Picking

There are a few farms in the area that let you come pick the veggies or fruit that you want and then you pay for what you pick (U-Pick farms). So for play group this past Friday Megan and I took the kids out to a farm to pick blueberries, play out side, and feed the farm animals. Libby and Kennedi had a great time. Libby really enjoyed picking the berries, but they kept disappearing after she showed me a good bunch of ten or so. She could not stop eating them up, I bet she ate at least 30 berries!

Blueberry Picking

Snack break and then onto playing on the cool wooden farm train and big truck.

I love Lyv's laugh in the background

I took this for Josh...he likes llama's, plus this guy had great teeth. :)

On another day we went out to a bridge that goes over the Hudson river. It used to be an old railroad track, and has now been rebuilt into a walkway for people to enjoy the scenery and history of the area. It's called the Walkway Over the Hudson. It was sticky and hot, but we made it. I pulled Libby and Kennedi in the Summers wagon. Then on the way back Libby insisted she pull Kennedi.
One view from the walkway bridge of another bridge across the Hudson.

PS--we still don't have any of our belongings. It's just a mess!
