Our sweet baby boy turned one on December 22nd. What a busy boy he has grown to be. He's been walking for a couple of weeks now, I mean running. He just can't get around fast enough. He is constantly finding trouble. Once he's found where something is, he knows where to go back and find it as soon as you turn your back. Especially things like snacks. He could eat all day and eats just about everything we give him. We are constantly taking things away from him and pulling him out of sticky situations. Whenever we have friends watch him at their own home, we arrive to see a house that has been Parker proofed, chairs sideways blocking things, tables leaning over to block tvs, etc. He loves playing basketball with Dad and his sisters. He understands find the ball and throw it. So he's got a good collections of balls. He is a momma's boy, in a way that he likes to snuggle with me and get excited when he sees me. He is very sweet and happy. He likes to give kisses when you ask for them. He's signing "more", "milk", "all done" and he shakes his head yes and no.
I have never been much of a cake maker, but I have been trying it out with the last few birthdays. I made Parker his own little mini cake to have at it.
We had our computer on the table with the Thun fam in Colorado, Thomas fam in Utah, Kyndra in Alaska and Bevan fam in California all watching Parker enjoy his cake.We finally have some boy toys in the house. He loved his new toys, but of course paper is way more fun.
Parkers birthday was on the Sunday before Christmas. Libby was excited to finally fit into this dress that was passed down from my sister.
Happy walking birthday boy!
It is very hard to get Parker to ever sit in one spot for very long unless he is restrained (high chair, car seat or stroller). This makes taking pictures extremely difficult and making it through all of sacrament meeting at church.
