Major Snow Day

Winter has brought on a lot of snow to us out east this year.  This is our third winter in New York and to me has been the coldest with the most snow compared to the past two winters here.
My van was buried in pretty good.
The kids think snow days are so great though.  Mainly because they like to eat the snow.
Snow angels on the side pile of snow that continued to grow after this day.

Parker just begging to come out with the girls.  I didn't have a boots for him, so he just watched them from the warm house.  He's so cute!
 Big beautiful blue eyes.
 Better than ice cream :)
I love these girls in their cute hats.
Dad came out to teach the girls to climb our huge snow mountain in our front yard.
Josh could look into our second story from the top of the snow and we couldn't see out our windows from the first floor.
 Happy to be on top.
Once Parker went down for a nap, I even joined the fun for a slide down the hill.
Libby trekking through the two feet of snow on the side of our house.
Josh and I dug a snow tunnel for the girls.  We dug from separate sides and met in the middle.  It was tough work, but fun.  It was probably about 10 feet long.
 Kennedi was done for now.

 Ready for her hot chocolate.
Libby thought it was so cool that she could touch the tall branches on the tree.
Dad and Libby enjoying the tunnel.
After a couple hours of playing we came inside for some warm white chicken chili and hot chocolate.
