Updating...what's that? :)

Since it's been over a month since we last updated our blog, we thought you would like to get some more recent ongoings of the Thun's in Iowa. Josh has been very busy during his 3rd year of school and seeing lots of patients at the clinic and VA hospitol. He's enjoying this part of school a little more than sitting in a lecture. From what I can tell he is very good at it too! :)
Libby and I enjoy our days together. She is very into animals and their sounds. She's getting quite good at all the ones we've taught her it feels like we are running out of animals. She loves, loves to read. She is always bringing us books and asking us to read them, in her own little gibberish of course. Her hair is getting so fun to do now too. One day I did these really cute pigtails shown below. Libby loves to say cheese and smile when she sees a camera or phone camera. She has the cheesest smile in some of the pics we take like in the one below when she's playing with her little people and the very last picture. She's constantly on the go, walking is something she wishes she could do everywhere we go. Church is starting to be a little tough. She does pretty good throughout sacrament, but then thinks she is free to roam the church. Josh and I take our turns with her during the 3rd hour depending on who's teaching that day. She goes to nursurey in one month. She has been soooooo ready for a few months, but of course not quite old enough. Her best friend Brynlee is in nursurey a little early because her parents are the assistants, so they are all ready for Libby to join in! Libby is such a sweet heart and is growing so fast. She's not our little baby anymore, she's a toddler. :)
As for me, primary is going good. Our presidency has been working hard to get ready for next year. Little bit of adjusting here and there. My sister Kyndra was here over the Thanksgiving holiday after she finished up her student teaching in Las Vegas. She was here a little over a week, we did some Christmas shopping, played lots of games, had a great Thanksgiving dinner at our friends the Shaws along with the Day family, Eric Lew & John. Kyndra and I were in charge of the turkey this year...a first. It turned out to be a fun thing to do together and tasted quite yummy. Surprisingly could handle the turkey, it didn't gross me out as much as it used to.
