We don't have internet, so our blog has been seriously neglected. As always I hope to be better at updating everyone when we get internet again. Especially since we will be off to New York in two weeks.
We made the long drive to Iowa for Josh's graduation on Memorial weekend. We were able to make a vacation out of it too. We stayed with our good friend the Shaws and then stayed in our vacant house when Josh's family came into town.
Josh spent his days fishing, playing basketball, and fishing! He loves the fishing there with his friend Matt.
The girls and I made the rounds visiting our friends, hanging out with Adrienne, playing at the park, and of course hitting the library for old time sake. I also went to Brianne's baby shower and saw other good friends. It was so nice. So many of my friends are expecting or just had their babies this week. Yay!
(Congrats Brianne and Danina!!!)
Libby really enjoyed playing with all her old friends, Isabel, Bailey, Jasmin, Topher, Emi, and Brynlee. Brnlee and Libby just clicked once they were together again. They have always played so well, and now that they both talk so good it's so fun to watch them interact.
Kennedi just went with the flow as usual! She is so good. She just loves taking everything all in and people watching. :)
The main event of Josh's graduation was a moment in life we've been waiting awhile for. Josh has worked so incredibly hard these past 4 years of med school. I am so proud of him! Dr. Joshua D. Thun, I like the sound of that. :)
We had co-worker in Alaska that used to call Josh, "Dr. Josh" everytime she saw him driving his bus. It always made us laugh. That was a long time ago and now it's official!
We had a big bbq at our house with all our neighbors again. It was so fun to watch the kids play again. Brynlee and Libby just loved dancing together. They played really well with Emi too, she was tool little when we left Iowa.
The Shaws graduation gift to us was taking us golfing with some friends. Josh has been golfing a few times since highschool, but I have not been since highschool. So I was pretty worried. Josh and I both did good enough for the lack of playing the past few years. We had so much fun. We really want to get back into it again and take some lessons...someday.
